A new Magnetic-Drive Vane Pump with all non-metallic wet surfaces is to be introduced at ACHEMA, Frankfurt, by Tuthill Pump Group.

Pulsation-free, it is designed for applications employing sensitive equipment, such as flowmeters, that have budget limitations.

It is ideal for food, medical and aerospace applications.

The pump, which is FDA and USDA compliant, is manufactured in PPS (PolyPhenyleneSulphide) with a ceramic shaft.

This gives it both excellent chemical resistance and a wide band temperature tolerance (-40 to 66C).

These features are complemented by the inherent leak-free characteristic of the pump.

Performance characteristics include an operating pressure of up to 4 BarG with system pressures up to 5.5 BarG, and a flow rate of up to 3.5 litres/min.

Life expectancy is 10,000+ hours.

Suitable for use with different types of motors (AC, DC and brushless), the new pump accuracy can be tailored to match application requirements.

See Tuthill Pumps at ACHEMA in Hall 9, on stand 27.
