Their decision to choose the TUV Rheinland Group as a partner for their many certification requirements was due to TUV's extensive service portfolio, reputation for service and global presence.
Presently, the agreement in the UK covers certification of management and/or environmental systems for all but one UK plant.
Though, in September this last plant in Burton-upon-Trent will also become subject to TUV accreditation.
At a recent meeting in the UK, representatives of the two groups Ms Karen Edwards, UK BOS Champion, commented on the partnership between TUV International and Johnson Controls.
Ms Edwards highlighted the TUV service delivery, global presence and its understanding and support of Johnson Controls business needs, as the main contributors to the creation of the good relationship with Johnson Controls, and added, "The TUV Rheinland well known and easily recognisable brand is known by industrialists and consumers worldwide".
Paul Latham, QMS Auditor at TUV International UK said "The professionalism and the spirit of advancement, noticeable in every Johnson Controls plant audited in the UK was reflected by their success, and that TUV looked forward to the ongoing cooperation with Johnson Controls, and excellent relations between the two organisations.".
