Tetra Pak to appear on TV on the Discovery Channel
Tetra Pak, a world leader in food processing and packaging solutions, will be featured on the Discovery Channel series How Do They Do It? across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, starting 10th March
How Do They Do It? looks at how everyday objects are created.
Tetra Pak will feature in the sixth episode, which explores how Tetra Pak carton packages are produced.
Last year some 137 billion Tetra Pak packages containing 70 billion litres of beverages were made.
The six minute segment showcases Tetra Pak production and distribution processes, exploring the company's pioneering roll-fed filling system which preserves the nutritional value of milk and juice products.
The programme charts the journey of Tetra Pak carton packages from a sustainable forest in Sweden to the Korsnas board mill to an Arla dairy to the retail shelf.
A short copy of the TV clip will also be available online from 10th March 2008 on the Tetra Pak website.
First showing will be in the UK on 10 March at 7.30pm.
Programme dates for Asia, North America and South America are still to be confirmed.
