Christian Vermeulen has been appointed European General Manager at Tyco Thermal Controls, the world's leading supplier of electric heat-tracing systems

Christian Vermeulen has been appointed European General Manager at Tyco Thermal Controls, the world's leading supplier of electric heat-tracing systems.

Based out of the company European HQ at Lubbeek, Belgium, his role will be to develop and implement further business growth strategies across all channels throughout Europe.

An important focus for Christian will be the further optimisation of a European Marketing and Sales approach, creating synergies between the different European teams.

He will also spearhead new initiatives for the expansion of business in Eastern Europe.

Christian has previously held senior positions in international companies such as Agfa-Gevaert, Bell Telephone ITT and IBA.

He communicates in six languages and his global business experience includes over ten years operating out of South America, Scandinavia and the Far East in sales, marketing and general management roles.

Tyco Thermal Controls has many of the most respected heat-tracing brands in the marketplace including: Raychem; Pyrotenax; Isopad; DigiTrace and its engineering arm Tracer.

It offers technologies for industrial process temperature maintenance, frost protection, ramp heating, hot water temperature maintenance, underfloor heating and specialist fire rated cables.

These are supported with a full design and fulfilment service and warm pipe warranties.
