The problem with process fluids is that they all have their own unique characteristics and each presents the pump manufacturer with a sealing or pumping challenge

That is why process pump manufacturer Salvatore Robuschi offers a modular seal system on its RD/RG range of centrifugal process pumps exclusively available in the UK from The Pump Company One unique seal cover can be adapted to suit a range of sealing options, from a basic single seal with or without quench, to a double mechanical seal arranged in tandem or back to back orientation

The seals have the option of heating or cooling systems, cartridge or standard packing.

The RD/RG pumps are built to conform to DIN 24256 and ISO 2858 and can be offered to meet the current ATEX regulations.

A choice of closed or semi open impellers are manufactured using lost wax casting techniques and this is the key to their high efficiency.

Compared to traditional sand cast impellers this system of open micro-cast impellers offer a considerable saving in energy costs.

These low NPSH centrifugal pumps are manufactured in AISI 316 stainless steel (with Monel, Hastelloy and other alloys available).

The semi open impeller allows the pumping of solids in suspension and dissolved gasses without loss of performance.

Various executions are available such a horizontal close or long coupled, vertical trunk slung or cantilevered pumpsets.

Flow rates up to 300 m3/h and heads of 100m are available.

An additional benefit of the Salvatore Robuschi range is their short delivery times due to ample stocks of both pumps and spare parts.
