The characteristics of the internal gear pump make it ideal for handling difficult liquids over a wide range of viscosities

With 75 years of experience in the design and manufacture of pumps, you can imagine that Varisco have built up an extensive knowledge in meeting the demands of pumping liquids of varying viscosities.

The Varisco "V" series range of internal gear pumps, available in the UK from the Pump Company, offers the answer to smooth and efficient flow when pumping thick liquids.

The simplicity of pump design is such that there are only two moving parts; the rotor and idler gear, and only one shaft.

The pump, which is totally reversible, offers a constant capacity that is directly proportional to rotational speed, and this is virtually independent of pressure.

The pump gives a smooth flow without pulsation or pressure peaks which cause vibration or destroy the pumped fluid.

The "V" series is used in many industrial and process applications, such as transferring oils, bitumen, molasses, inks, resins, polymers, etc.

Manufactured in ductile iron, stainless steel or other special alloys, the pump is available with a variety of sealing and bearing options.

With flow rates to 350m3/h, max pressure 20bar, max viscosity 1,000,000 cSt, the V series can be certified in accordance with ATEX, and is suitable for use in the petro-chemical industry.
