Albin ALP peristaltic pump offers accurate dosing

A The Pump Company product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jan 15, 2010

The Albin ALP peristaltic pump is now available in the UK from The Pump Company.

The ALP is claimed to be accurate up to +/-0.5 per cent across the total speed range.

It has no seals, valves, diaphragms, glands or immersed rotors to leak, clog or replace and it will self-prime to 0.6 bar and run dry indefinitely.

The pump contains the fluid in a tube or hose, requiring only one component to be changed, which means that maintenance costs can be lower than other pump types.

Two rollers on a rotor compress a thick-walled hose in a concentric guide and push the contents of the hose from the suction to discharge side.

The Albin ALP pump range has flow rates from microlitres to 10m/h and pressures up to four bar.
