Valve and pipeline equipment supplier UFB Ltd, based on the outskirts of Europe's oil capital, Aberdeen, are pleased to announce their appointment as agents in Scotland for AC Valves and Controls.

UFB, through the AC Valves and Controls exclusive importing and stocking agreement for the UK and Ireland with ball valve manufacturer Pekos, have access to their full range of cast steel ball valves designed and manufactured in Spain, at a TUV, DNV and Lloyds approved foundry.

Pekos ball valve stocks cover sizes 1/2" to 12" Flanged ANSI 150 and 300 raised face, full and reduced bore with ISO 5211 top flange for easy assembly of actuators and accessories.

DIN PN 16/40 full bore are also stocked and 3 and 4 way valves are also available.

The Pekos manufacturing programme includes wafer pattern ball valves, steam jacketed ball valves and tank bottom valves.

Standard materials include carbon steel WCC, stainless steel CF8M and cast iron.

Special materials including LCC, Duplex and bronze are also available.

Considerable component stocks held in Spain support the UK stockholding of valves.

Part assembled units enable the factory to build valves quickly to precise customer specifications with little or no premium in price, for example valves with carbon/graphite steam seats.

Pekos valves have API 6D, TUV and Lloyds type approval and have been fire tested to BS 6755 part 2, verified by Lloyds to cover the complete range.

NACE conformity and DIN 3.1.B certification is standard.

Pekos hold both PED and ISO 9001 Lloyds approval, whilst AC Valves and Controls have been assessed and approved to hold ISO 9002 QA registration.

UFB, in association with AC Valves and Controls, offer rapid turnaround of all sales enquiries together with the ability to process and despatch orders the same day.

They can also source other valves and actuators in order to satisfy client specific package requirements.
