It is not always smooth sailing in the pulp and paper industry: clogs can gum up the works costing time and money The Ashcroft KX thin film pressure transmitter can help industry specialists avoid annoying clogs with its industry-proven technology
The KX thin film technology, flush diaphragm and PMC pulp and paper adapter keeps the media it measures from actually entering the transmitter.
The pressure on the diaphragm triggers the ultra-sensitive thin film system to show pressure readings with an accuracy of +/-1%.
The diaphragm is made of 316 stainless steel and the case is 300 series stainless steel so the KX is one rugged customer.
An IP65 enclosure is standard.
UK Instrument and Controls has the KX available in standard ranges from 0/100 psi to 0/5000 psi and operates in temperatures from -65F to 250F.
