Ultra.air Group has just launched the second generation of the original Ultrafilter housings for compressed air filters manufactured by Ultrafilter in Germany

The new Ultrafilter housings incorporate the proven features from the first generation version with intelligent new design elements that are already demonstrating even more benefits for compressed air users in terms of energy efficiency and ease of maintenance Following the proven principles of the first generation design, the new Ultrafilter housings continue to be manufactured in Germany by Ultrafilter Gmbh, using high quality materials and retaining the superior three-part Ultrafilter housing construction

This maintenance and user-friendly construction includes a fastening ring ensuring secure opening and sealing of the housing, and a cone and O-ring connection which ensure secure sealing of the housing components.

An audible alarm system further prevents the opening of the filter housing under pressure whilst push and turn technology continues to ensure easy exchange of filter elements.

The new Ultrafilter housings now incorporate a modular design concept.

As a result it is now possible to connect any number of types or combinations of filters together.

There is also only one robust flanged connection point which enables the filter housings to be securely and simply combined with a sealing surface, minimising the installation time required.

The second generation of Ultrafilter housing also now includes a conical design and smooth lower filter zone.

This design feature ensures that no condensate can be carried over downstream preventing recontamination of the filtered compressed air.

The new original Ultrafilter housing further comes with a built-in energy cost monitor.

This intelligent device allows the user to monitor the differential pressure of the filter element.

By doing so it indicates when it is most economical to exchange the filter element for optimum energy efficiency.

This signal can be further transmitted remotely allowing the service provider to also receive this important message.

Improved flow technology of the original Ultrafilter housings also means that pressure losses are minimal reducing unnecessary energy consumption.

The second generation Ultrafilter housings have retained the same connections.

This makes them compatible and easy to install with both the latest generation of Ultrafilter elements as well as with the 90 series.

Furthermore, the Ultrafilter housings are compatible with a number of other makes and combinations of filters.

Ultrafilter housing from Ultra.air are available with flow rate capacities from 40 - 50,000 m3/h.
