Debuting at Pittcon 2004 is the new Ultrasonic Scientific Titration Kinetic Analyser high-resolution spectrometer for titration measurements and for analysing kinetics of chemical reactions in small volumes (approximately 40 microlitres).
With the Titration Kinetic Analyser, microstructural and molecular processes can be measured when concentration of selected compounds are changed (titration).
This makes it perfect for drug screening and measuring binding constants, enzymatic activity and kinetics of chemical reactions.

Also being showcased for the first time is the new Ultrasonic Scientific customer-driven spectrometry software.
This new software is FOUR times faster than the previous version and includes the following features: Task orientated steps which require limited manual input; Extensive database of background material; Extended data analysis capabilities; Integrated HELP system.
In addition, the extensive range of NEW Ultrasonic Scientific accessories/external plug-in modules for the HR-US 102 high-resolution spectrometer are being showcased on booth 4178.
These accessories transform the HR-US 102 spectrometer, which was originally designed for analysis of liquid systems, into a platform for performing a wide range of additional analytical functions.
Amongst these accessories is the new Titration accessory, which allows enhanced analysis of intermolecular interactions, ligand binding, aggregation processes, gelation and phase transitions amongst others.
The Titration accessory enables measurement of the associated microstructural and molecular rearrangements in the sample and allows precision change in concentration of selected chemical components in the ultrasonic cell.
