Ultrasonic Scientific, innovators in high-resolution ultrasonic spectroscopy for material analysis, won the prestigious accolade after demonstrating excellence under the following criteria: An advancement of science through its research achievements; Exceptional research backed up with good working practices and systems; Good team work and morale.
Dr Vitaly Buckin, the inventor of the HRUS technology was presented with the award from sponsor, Fisher Scientific.
On receiving the award, Breda O'Driscoll, managing director of Ultrasonic Scientific Ltd commented: "We are extremely proud to have been awarded the accolade of Best Research Group.
