Chemical distribution for DSM European operations

Univar Europe, the leading chemical distributor in the world, has been named a preferred distributor/supplier in Europe for DSM, the leading worldwide supplier of life science and nutritional products

Univar Europe, a business unit of Univar NV, the leading chemical distributor in the world, has been named a preferred distributor/supplier in Europe for DSM, the leading worldwide supplier of life science and nutritional products, performance materials and industrial chemicals.

The contract builds on strongly optimising the Total Cost of Ownership and covers all European sites of DSM.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Univar will supply non-strategic and tail-end chemicals as well as raw materials to the full range of the DSM European operational groups, including Anti Infectives, Bakery Ingredients, Fine Chemicals, Food Specialties, Engineering Plastics, Elastomers, Coating Resins, Composite Resins, Pharma Chemicals, Pharmaceutical Products, Venturing and Business Development, Nutritional Products, Melamine, Agro, and Fibre Intermediates.
