Walk-in type temperature and humidity chambers
Unitemp have introduced the new Espec range of economic power saving, walk-in temperature and humidity chambers
All models are compliant with IEC60068-2-66 standards.
They use a combination of temperature, over 100C, with high humidity and pressure, which gives the equivalent of extreme conditions.
This means test requirements can be accelerated by a factor of 50 or more.
The control panel is mounted on the top right hand side on the access door with an easy to read display.
Ten programmes can be stored in the memory allowing full control of the test profile, especially the critical cool down phase.
Each system includes specimen power terminals that allow easy wiring to test samples, despite the pressurised chamber design. These systems are capable of two different operation modes: saturated humidity and unsaturated humidity.
The M-instrumentation option measures humidity via a wet bulb sensor, eliminating the risk of condensation on samples over the entire test.
Chambers with two bays allow twice as much testing with the same footprint.
All models have a temperature range of 105 to 162C, with humidity of 75 to 100%RH, and pressure of 0.19 to 3.87atm.
The interior volume is from 18 to 130Litres and dimensions are 250 x 320 x 250 mm to 550 x 550 x 550 mm.
Constructed inside and out from top quality stainless steel, this range complements the extensive Unitemp range of test chambers.
Unitemp have the expertise to provide 'specials' to customer requirements.
Although primarily designed for laboratories and research facilities this product has applications in the process industry.
