These reliable flowmeters use proven technology to keep bearings, gears, drills and mills functional.
The meters monitor rate of oil flow, provide flow indication to assist in problem diagnosis and respond immediately if flow goes too low.
The mechanical flow switches can be wired to trigger equipment shutdown for protection against machinery damage.
Lube oil meters from Universal Flow Monitors maintain 5 percent accuracy over common viscosity ranges (40 - 200 CPS).
The meters can monitor petroleum or synthetic oil flows from as low as 5 gallons per hour to as high as 160 gallons per minute (20 litres per hour to 600 litres per minute).
The series includes LL piston-style meters and SN and MN vane-style meters made of materials preselected for circulating lubricating oil.
The meters can be calibrated for specific oils and are easy to install, operate and maintain.
They mount in line and in any orientation, with no straight pipe runs required.
The meters and switches are rated for all classes, divisions and groups of hazardous locations.
The meters have CSA, CE and Cenelec certifications.
Universal Flow Monitors, located in Hazel Park, Michigan, has manufactured flowmeters for a variety of industries for more than 20 years.
