Vaisala is now offering a new product line that includes all the benefits of the 555 DCP-based units, with more flexible data collection capability, greater ease of use, and a competitive price.

Named the Vaisala HydroMet Maws, Vaisala introduced this exciting new product to the North American Market in July of 2005.

Included in this introduction are the following platforms.

* Vaisala HydroMet Station Maws100.

* Vaisala HydroMet Station Maws110.

* Vaisala HydroMet Station Maws201.

* Vaisala HydroMet Station Maws301.

As of 31 March 2006 the existing 555 DCP-based product lines will no longer be sold without an existing order commitment.

Systems affected are 555A, 555B, and 555C.

Technical support, replacement parts, and repair services will be available through 31 March 2011.

To help our valued customers transition to the new Vaisala technologies, all existing 555 customers are eligible for free training on all Vaisala HydroMet Maws products during the next six (6) months.

The training sessions, which are conducted on a first come, first served basis, last two days and will be held twice a month at the Vaisala Boulder facilities.

The Vaisala commitment to on-going research, development, and improvement of our existing products ultimately improves your sensing and data collection needs.
