The new VEGA "High Pressure" water-proof pressure transmitter housings and electronics are continuously exposed to moisture in many applications of the industrial automation industry: and they survive

The new VEGA "High Pressure" water-proof pressure transmitter housings and electronics are continuously exposed to moisture in many applications of the industrial automation industry; for example, in the paper industry, the food processing industry and marine industry High-pressure washing and environmental conditions are a major factor in the long-term reliability of a sensor

VEGA offers an ideal solution with Vegabar 74 and 75 transmitters.

They have a sealed stainless steel housing certified for protection class IP 68 and additionally to IP69K, which involves water ingress protection against a high-pressure water or steam jet.

The IP69K Test Requirement includes spraying from all angles, with the instrument mounted on a rotary table, from a distance of between 100 and 150 mm, with an 80C water jet, pressure of 80 to 100 bar for 30seconds in each of four positions.

Also, the encapsulation of Vegabar electronics ensures reliable performance even with the housing fully submerged.

The atmospheric pressure compensation, for gauge measurement, is carried out via a pressure compensation capillary located within the cable.

These compact instruments transmit a 4 to 20 mA signal with HART protocol to enable fast, off-line commissioning and remote calibration, also they save space and additional connections by needing no additional electronics. Request free introductory details about products from Vega Controls UK ...
