Vega FF products are all introduced together

On schedule, the Vega Foundation Fieldbus products have been launched in October 2003: all the plics product lines Vegapuls non contact radar, Vegaflex guided microwave radar and Vegabar hydrostatic and pressure were introduced at the same time.

All have passed the tests successfully and are in receipt of a Foundation Fieldbus certificate.

This further enhances the range of plics products from Vega by adding to the already available Profibus and HART in all devices.

All options can be configured and communicated with via DTM Pactware interface the new universal software communication tool or via a Foundation Fieldbus integrated network.

VEGA UK communications and digital systems specialist Chris Brennan commented, " This really does give us the full capability for integration with any plant control system".

Chris added, "Coupled with our plics concept offering in-head programming and diagnostic capability without any laptop it offers real on plant convenience for all users".

What is plics ? Multiply nine measuring principles, four different housings, all the usual approvals and numerous process fittings, it makes it easy to get the right plics sensor, fast and first time.

Take away any difficulties, by using logical selection, quick mounting, menu-driven set-up, and easy maintenance with plics.

Add to this a simple adjustment on the sensor itself, or remote via PC using Profibus, FF or via Pactware and it all equals a solution for all applications and conditions.

Chis Brennan concluded "The appropriate DDs and CFF files can be downloaded from the VEGA Homepage".
