VEGA celebrates a record number of level radars

A Vega Controls UK product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jan 14, 2005

After many world firsts in the development of radar level measurement technology, proven product performance and exemplary customer service, Vega have delivered their 100,000th level transmitter

In 2004, Vega delivered its 100,000th radar level transmitter.

The major highlights on the way to this milestone include: introducing pulse technology radar for level measurement in 1991, developing the revolutionary signal processing software Echofox, the worlds first '2-wire loop powered' radar, initiating SPEED product deliveries to meet demand, as well as establishing the plics system for ease of use and lower ownership costs in all Vega measurement technologies.

These steps, along with customer service and proven product performance, have resulted in the Vega continuing lead in the global process radar market.

The story of achievement continues; the latest success is the new VegaPuls 68 radar sensor for non-contact solids level measurement, unaffected by dust and surface angle, with a narrow beam, high sensitivity, optional satellite antenna technology for an ultra-focussed signal, a 70m range and 2-wire loop powered.

The success is based on the dedicated teams of people in the background who develop, produce and deliver the groundbreaking technologies, the customer partnerships and investment in innovation that demonstrate Vega remain motivated to continue, always 'On the right track'.
