cream
Ice cream manufacturer, Granelli McDermott use a Genie pump to transfer raspberry sauce at their factory in Cheadle, Cheshire, and simplify their production process
Ice cream manufacturer, Granelli McDermott use a Genie pump to transfer raspberry sauce at their factory in Cheadle, Cheshire The new unit cost 50% less than the traditional filling machines used at the plant and site personnel have commented on the versatility of the Genie pump
The old-style filling machines feature a built-in hopper for the sauce that has to be topped-up manually to prevent the units running dry and over heating.
Because the new Genie can run-dry and self-prime, it can be connected direct to the sauce tanks, saving on labour and simplifying the process.
Granelli have been so impressed with the Genie that they recently ordered a second unit for a similar application.
