Gentle pump solves many problems.
A Verderflex pump with a gentle pumping action has solved a sludge removal problem for a TV manufacturer. It also manages to empty two other waste slurry tanks in its spare time.
The Verderflex range provides accurate dosing as well as having the ability to handle solids and run dry.
Its hose is proven to give a long life thus reducing maintenance and lifetime costs.
The trial was a success and the Water Research Centre are now confident that a peristaltic pump is an excellent way of pumping lime slurry.
Verder manufactures and supplies quality, industrial process pumps with an extensive range covering peristaltic, air diaphragm, centrifugal mag-drive and gear pumps as well as Grundfos, Cat, Apex, Lutz, Pedrollo and Robbins and Myers.
