22 May 2009 - Verder has been appointed by Abel as the specialist pump manufacturer's sole outlet for the UK and southern Ireland.
The Abel series comprises heavy duty electrically driven membrane, piston and hydraulic membrane pump systems allowing solids contents in excess of 50 per cent to be handled with discharge pressures up to 250 bar and flow rates up to 600M3/hr.
The pumps offer ideal solutions for sludges and slurries and the pressure capability provides a means of enhancing the performance of filter presses to deliver exceptionally dry cakes.
Other applications include sludge transfer, spray dryer feed, incinerator feed and metering systems, these processes can be found in the water and waste, ceramic, mining, cement, chemical, petrochemical and automotive industries.
