Vexamus Water has launched a new, self-cleaning Emergency Overflow (EO) Screen, specially for pumpwells, which has the significant added benefit of not requiring any power Easy to install in new or existing stations, the new PumpwellEasy design has been developed specifically for pumpwells (and some draw down storm tanks) to be very user-friendly and downright reliable

This ingenious, practical screen benefits from a non-powered backwashing process that dramatically reduces manpower by eliminating the need to handle, remove, transport or dispose of screenings.

Suitable for a wide range of flows, standard units of 304 stainless steel can be selected "off the shelf" to cover a range from 20 l/s up to 170 l/s to suit the pumpwell.

Fitted in to standard concrete rings for economic and straightforward construction, the Vexamus PumpwellEasy has a performance specification of 6mm 2D for retaining screenings.

Simple, economic, yet highly effective, this robust screen is readily adjustable and has standard interchangeable parts.
