A highly compact and cost-effective clarifier, which benefits from a fully integrated dewatering system, has been introduced to the UK exclusively by Vexamus Water With a proven track record in Scandinavia, the Salsnes Clarifier provides a removal efficiency of 50% for total suspended solids and more than 20% removal of BOD in municipal wastewater applications

At the same time, the removed solids are dewatered to produce a 25% to 40% DS sludge.

Also operating successfully in paper, food or fish processing factories where there is a need to treat water, remove floc or reduce the loss of raw materials, this innovative clarifier can remove solids to as low as 15-30 micron and provide an essential first treatment stage for membrane applications.

Benefiting from a very small footprint, offering low capital costs, the Salsnes Clarifier is a totally enclosed, odour-free system with low maintenance and a self-cleaning operation.

All performance data is verified by independent scientific sources.

The Salsnes Clarifier meets the European Council Directive 91/271/EEC (May 21, 1991) regarding urban wastewater treatment for primary clarification.
