Infrared process heaters save 25% on energy

Victory Lighting has introduced the HI Heat 'Energy Saving' infrared ceramic emitters that are claimed to reduce energy costs by up to 25 percent in process heating applications.
The units are manufactured using a hollow cast ceramic technique and the result is a range of emitters with considerably shorter heating-up times than conventionally made products.
The hollow created in the casting process is filled with insulation so more energy is directed at the material to be heated.
These hollow ceramic infrared emitters, or panel radiators, are available in four designs, including square and oblong formats from 62.5mm x 62.5mm to 250mm x 62.5mm, and cover power ranges from 60W to 1000W.
They can be used singly or, more usual, as multiples in panels.
Their dimensions are compatible with other emitters and therefore they can replace existing products on a fit-for-fit basis.
Operating voltage is 230V and each emitter has 85mm leads and is provided with a mounting set.
Integral thermocouples are optional.
