MaxiDaptor, the Viking Johnson universal flange adaptor, is now being supplied with Twin-Start bolts so that it can be bolted up faster and with less effort, saving time in the trench
Each fitting is to be individually covered in a tight wrapping that does not have to be removed until it is ready for bolting up, preventing the ingress of any foreign matter - especially important when working on potable water mains.
Upon completion of the installation the bio-degradable wrapping can then be buried in the trench alongside the product, where it breaks down into elements considered harmless to the environment.
Already being used on Easirange clamps and taps, the shrink-wrapping will soon be extended to Aquafast couplings and flange adaptors up to DN315 and then extended throughout the entire Viking Johnson portfolio.
