"We use a lot of hydrogen peroxide in our blends" says Warehouse Manager Steve Porritt, "and that means we have to be particularly careful about iron and similar contaminants in water".
As is always the case with expanding businesses, Airedale has always had limited space for their water purification systems and, for many years, operated a Permutit Scion, the most compact deioniser on the market.
When the Scion showed signs of advancing age, Airedale looked to Elga for a replacement.
Although the top selling Elga Process Water deioniser, the Duo Eclipse 150, met all their requirements, Airedale decided not to buy it! Instead, they took advantage of Elga Process Water "All-in-Pack" rental agreement.
Airedale simply pays a fixed quarterly payment and Elga Process Water provides the Duo Eclipse water treatment plant and services it.
"It simply made economic sense", says Steve.
"The plant belongs to Elga Process Water, and they know best how to look after it - all the spares that might be needed are included".
