Leading German PLC designer and manufacturer Vipa has expanded their UK based website, providing an information resource for the UK automation industry

A new website aimed at serving the specific needs of the UK and Ireland automation industry has been launched by Vipa, the leading German manufacturer of innovative PLC and PC based solutions.

The website covers regularly updated information on the Vipa modular DIN rail and PC slot mounted, centralised and decentralised, automation systems with performance capability ranging from low-cost entry level PLCs to full featured, price-competitive advanced machine controllers.

Each range has a selection of CPUs with memory expansion, fieldbus modules, digital and analogue I/O modules and terminals.

Complete software support, a range of touch screen HMIs and an extensive array of accessories combine to support simplified integration into new or existing applications.

At the top end of the range, the Vipa System 300S combines Speed7 processor technology with Siemens S7-300 hardware compatibility and is the fastest Step7 programmed PLC available today.

With direct links to the English language section of the German site and including full contact details for the Vipa UK based technical sales and application support division, the site also has links to UK partners including Wyko and Lenze.

The new site also highlights the latest UK press release, product and application news stories.

Automation system designers, engineers and machine builders responsible for providing innovative solutions in all areas of process and control will find the new website an invaluable and interesting information resource.
