* ACI - Automated Components Ireland is part of the PAK Automation Group, established in County Dublin in 1983 with interests in packaging automation and robotics through its subsidiary companies PAK Automation, and Automation and Robotics Ireland .

ACI is headed by David Downes who has gained an extensive knowledge of manufacturing automation with major projects involving Kawasaki and Toshiba robots.

The newly formed company aims to combine the technologies of its sister companies with the supply and support of a wide range of automation solutions from components level products through to SCADA and complete factory automation systems.

* Engineering Automation Solutions, based in County Limerick, have an extensive knowledge in manufacturing processes and offer a complete systems integration service for automated manufacture and test, electrical controls and information systems.

Engineering Automation Solutions directors Michael Beston and Richard Stapleton formed the company from over 30 years of combined experience in engineering and management of high technology production and information system projects.
