For many years Verder has manufactured and installed turnkey, skid-mounted pumping stations for the dosing of substances such as hypochlorite, lime, ferric, or polymers into wastewater treatment systems.

These skid units are intended to replace existing pumps, where the valves have become worn out or blocked, the metal parts have abrasions or simply because the cost involved in the maintenance and process down time of existing pumps is high.

With its valve-less design, smooth passage of liquids and accurate workings, Verderflex pumps are unlikely to be blocked by solutions containing high concentrations of abrasive or shear-sensitive solids.

With a low cost of ownership and excellent reliability, which in turn leads to very little downtime, Verderflex pumps are the ideal choice for some of the most demanding applications.

Skid mounted units are custom designed for individual requirements.

Full process controls using the new Verder Controller.

* Flow control.

* Hose burst detection.

* Flow/mass calibration.

* Timed operation.

The Verder Controller is ideally suited to batching, that is it is able to deliver a specific volume and then stop the pump.

Precision is achieved through a combination of inverter control, process timing and flow controls, through rotameter and flow sensors.

The skid is fitted with two Verderflex VF10 pumps, which can operate in a number of ways.

* One pump as a back-up/stand-by.

* Both pumps running to deliver very high flow rate.

* Both pumps running slowly, to provide free flow without pulsation.

This option is particularly important when using the batching mode.
