Peristaltic pumps for chemical dosing of
water

A range of peristaltic pumps which are ideally suited to chemical dosing applications in the water and wastewater treatment industry will be on show on the Watson-Marlow Bredel stand at IWEX2005 Headlining the show is the Watson-Marlow Bredel 520 series pump, which is widely believed to be the most sophisticated chemical metering pump currently available

It incorporates a four-line LCD display that indicates data such as flow rate, motor speed and direction of rotation.

A polyester powder-coated pump housing resists attack from most chemicals - including ferric chloride, sodium hypochlorite and sodium bisulphite.

The 520 is sold with a three-year performance warranty.

Generating a flow rate of between 4microL and 3.5 litre/min, the 520 pumps ensure unrivalled levels of accuracy, reliability and control in even the harshest operating environments.

Each one is rated to IP66, providing washdown protection for arduous conditions - a feature which is exclusive to Watson-Marlow Bredel.

The 520 series delivers user feedback via the pump's own display and have dual analogue input to control and scale speed.

The 520 series provides users with a '"drop-in" alternative for diaphragm or piston pumps with variable stroke control.

Also on show is the Watson-Marlow Bredel SPX range of high-press hose pumps.

The SPX 10 and 15 series hose pumps typically deliver flow rates at 160 litre/hour (120rpm) and 600 litre/hour respectively at pressures of up to 7.5 bar.

They are particularly suited to handling fluids that are viscous or abrasive, such as lime slurry and kalic. Request a free brochure from Watson-Marlow Bredel Pumps ...
