Pump for industrial metering applications
Watson-Marlow Bredel, the leading manufacturer of peristaltic pumps, offers its 704 U/RE pump designed for accurate metering and dosing of corrosive, abrasive and sensitive fluids
Watson-Marlow Bredel, the leading manufacturer of peristaltic pumps, offers its 704 U/RE pump designed for accurate metering and dosing of corrosive, abrasive and sensitive fluids.
It is ideal for the contamination-free transfer of acids, paints, oils, inks, dyes or waste slurries found in chemical, pulp and paper, printing and food processing applications.
Featuring increased production speed and flow control for high-capacity throughput, the 704 U/RE pump offers flow rates up to 1500 litres/hour and peak pressures up to 30 psi.
With no valves or seals to clog, the pump requires minimal maintenance, resulting in reduced downtime, providing a cost-effective alternative to traditional diaphragm pumps.
For extended tube life, the 704 U/RE pump is equipped with a driven-roller 701RE pumphead and LoadSure snap-fit tube technology.
The pumphead is also fitted with industrial cam and groove connectors to ensure safe and error-free tube installation.
To accommodate a double flow, the Watson-Marlow Bredel 704 U/RE pump also accepts the 701REX extension pumphead.
The cased drive units and control circuits are housed in a washdown IP55 enclosure for use in harsh environments.
Outfitted with manual and analogue control features, the 704 U/RE offers speed controls ranging from 4 to 20mA to 0-10V.
Additionally, for selectable single phase voltage, it operates at both 100-120V and 220-240V.
Watson-Marlow Bredel 704 U/RE offers reversible operation with rapid stop and 'auto-restart' for mains failure and recovery of timer control.
For increased protection, the manual keypad lock prevents tempering and accidental changes.
Every Watson-Marlow Bredel peristaltic pump is an inherent metering pump with repeatability at 99.5%.
Many models include integral digital drives and displays in washdown enclosures.
These self-priming pumps accommodate flow rates from 0.1 microlitre to 350 gpm, and are extremely durable, withstanding pressures up to 232 psi.
There are no internal universal joints, valves, dead corners, or glands to impede flow, and these pumps are reversible for back flushing lines.
They can also run dry indefinitely without damage and provide up to a 30foot suction lift.
