Wyatt Technology will showcase their advanced Dynapro Titan Plate Reader at the 234th ACS National Meeting and Exposition of the American Chemical Society, from 19-23 August 2007, in Boston

The launch of the groundbreaking new DynaPro Plate Reader with temperature control, will be on booth 608, at the 234th National Meeting and Exposition of the American Chemical Society, from 19-23 August 2007, in Boston, coinciding with the celebration of Wyatt Technology's 25th anniversary The new, advanced DynaPro Plate Reader is the only instrument capable of performing automated, high-throughput, temperature-controlled Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) measurements with industry-standard well plates without perturbing the samples

This revolutionary device is designed to achieve rapid screening of unfractionated samples, thus being suitable for a wide range of applications including protein crystallography, pharmaceutical formulation and antibody aggregation studies.

The DynaPro Plate Reader uses industry-standard 96 or 384 or 1536 well plates and features built-in temperature control as well as compatibility with the industry's leading liquid handling robots.

Also exhibited on booth 608 will be the Wyatt Technology suite of Dawn Multi Angle Light Scattering (Mals) detectors, the award-winning Optilab refractive index detectors, the ViscoStar viscometer and the Eclipse Field Flow Fractionation.

Among the products on display will be the miniDawn Treos, a triple-angle light scattering detector for the measurement of absolute molecular weight, size and conformation of macromolecules in solution as well as the powerful Dawn Heleos, the only instrument in existence able to incorporate both Mals and Qels (Quasi-Elastic Light Scattering) into a single unit.

Geof Wyatt, President of Wyatt Technology, comments: "Since the formation of Wyatt Technology in 1982, we have been defining and redefining our state-of-the-art laser light scattering hardware, software, training and services to meet ever-increasing customer needs.

We are delighted to be able to celebrate our 25th anniversary with the DynaPro Plate Reader.

This instrument will revolutionise the way dynamic light scattering analyses are executed and will lead the way to even more innovative solutions in our next 25 years".
