Weighing system for Eczacibasi Pharmaceuticals

Eczacibasi Pharmaceuticals, Turkey's leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, has contracted Werum Software and Systems to deliver a weighing solution based on the Werum PAS-WD product

Following an intensive selection process, Eczacibasi Pharmaceuticals, Turkey's leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, has contracted Werum Software and Systems to deliver a weighing solution based on the Werum PAS-WD product.

The contract covers the delivery and the implementation of a weighing system intended for pharmaceutical solids, liquids and semi-solids in the Eczacibasi plant in Luleburgaz.

The system will electronically administer the master batch records for weighing and dispensing, and execute them in paperless fashion by means of the Electronic Batch Recording functionality of PAS-WD.

Master data, order data and consumption messages will be exchanged with SAP via a bidirectional interface.

In subsequent project stages, paperless operation can be easily expanded to other production areas.

Validation of the weighing and dispensing solution in accordance with the applicable FDA regulations will be planned and carried out jointly by Eczacibasi, Werum and ConVal.
