Pharma partnership aims at Japanese market

IT Engineering, a leading Japanese provider of manufacturing solutions and services to the pharmaceutical industries, and Werum Software and Systems announce a partnership to serve the Japanese market

Werum PAS-X MES is an established software product which has proven itself in more than 400 installations worldwide.

Based on the product lines PAS-X Pharma and PAS-X Biotech, Werum designs and implements integrated paperless compliant solutions (GAMP / FDA standard) intended for the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical production.

PAS-X optimises the production process, improves product quality and process visibility, shortens batch release and product cycles and increases equipment efficiency.

PAS-X is fully available in Japanese language version, since Werum has installed the largest paperless MES on the Japanese market.

With signing the formal agreement, IT Engineering and Werum emphasised the strong product and market fit between Werum production management software PAS-X and the IT Engineering services line.

The Werum state-of-the-art MES product completes the IT Engineering broad spectrum of solutions and services for customers and prospects in the pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing industries.

IT Engineering will give both local sales and technical support services for Werum PAS-X software.

IT Engineering and Werum will jointly show their solutions at the forthcoming Interphex Japan show from July 2-4, 2008, in Tokio Big Sight.
