"Westermo has been expanding steadily in the UK over the last 10 years.
The move to the new larger offices was essential to house the growing technical support team, which we feel is required to provide continued high levels of technical support for our installed products" Said Alan Bollard, Westermo UK Managing Director.
The new larger training facilities have allowed Westermo to expand their programme of in-house technical training courses encompassing both industrial Ethernet and industrial data communications options.
The industrial data communication courses look at serial communications, RS232, RS422/485, PTSN modems, leased line modems and GSM modems.
The industrial Ethernet courses, which include both introductory and advanced options, cover basic theory, TCP/IP, Ethernet switching, RS232/485 over Ethernet and remote access to Ethernet networks.
All the two-day courses make use of purpose built individual practical equipment made available to each attendee.
Forthcoming courses are as follows.
