Parts are inserted into standard tote pans, plastic containers, mesh baskets or component fixtures, which are slotted into the wash chamber drum.
The SB 300 drum measures 300 x 300 x 400 mm while the SB 400 is slightly larger, at 400 x 400 x 600 mm.
Clive Ward, general manager of the Clean-Tek product range said: "These machines offer high output with a minimal footprint, allowing them to fit easily into a company's current machine layout.
Each cycle typically lasts only two minutes, so a large number of components can be processed in a short period of time.
It also cleans and dries in a single chamber, so operators don't have to carry parts between machines.
A rotational spray washing technique, capable of penetrating dense loads, means these machines outperform alternative systems, such as dunk, screw and tunnel washers".
A strainer basket and oil skimmer ensure oil and contaminants are removed during the cleaning process and the machine is free from clogging agents.
Steam leaving the machine is directed through a cold filter condenser and water droplets are drained away, avoiding the need for an air gun attachment.
Mr Ward said: "The SB 300 and SB 400 use water-based environmentally-responsible solutions, which effectively clean any type of metal component.
Aqueous systems provide a highly efficient and viable alternative to using solvents and help companies provide a safer working environment for employees, which complies with new legislation".
The comprehensive Clean-Tek range of solvent-free washing, degreasing and ultrasonic machines includes bench top and industrial multi-stage machines, in-line conveyors and spiral drum systems and immersion equipment.
Cleaning solutions, rust inhibitors, de-foaming and ancillary cleaning products are also available. Request a free brochure from Wheelabrator Group ...
