Until now, finding a reliable low pressure safety valve (mbar range) has been a problem for operators of gas systems: safety valve type AV619 by Witt-Gasetechnik fills this gap

Prior to this product launch, safety valves available in the marketplace for this purpose either failed to offer the necessary sensitivity, or were not capable of upholding the opening pressure The company has developed a safety valve which activates at tiny pressure increases in the range of 5 to 500mbar

By comparison, commercially available valves according to the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EEC frequently only react to a minimum pressure that is a hundred times higher.

The opening pressure is factory preset.

Another special feature is that the unit reliably complies with the pressure limit.

Up to now, the market was dominated by safety valves whose opening behaviour is difficult to reproduce below 0.5 bar, respectively which are all the more inaccurate when the opening pressure decreases.

The reliability of the Witt innovation is TuV-tested and certified.

Sensitive systems can thus be protected from expensive damage, because the pressure is relieved reliably in good time before reaching the operating limit.

The AV619 safety valve measures 52mm by 70 mm for easy installation in practically any situation.

It can be used for nearly all technical gases and has various input and output connections available.

It is available in a choice of brass and stainless steel, with the seals adjusted to the specific medium in each case.

The large temperature range from -40 to +300C is a further advantage.
