A portable, mid-infrared specific vapour analyser, the InfraRan, designed for easy, on-site measurement of four anaesthetic gases, has been introduced by Wilks Enterprise

The InfraRan 4-gas anaesthetic specific vapour analyser provides on-site, real-time measurements of Nitrous Oxide (0-1000 ppm), Desflurane (0-30 ppm), Isoflurane (0-30 ppm), and Sevoflurane (0-30 ppm).

The analyser is ideal for use in hospital operating and recovery rooms, dental offices, and veterinary facilities where it is important to ensure that workers are not exposed to high levels of waste anaesthetic gases which may have a toxic effect.

The InfraRan Specific Vapor Analyser has been designed to be a rugged, field portable instrument, weighing less than 18 lbs.

It is ideal for both on-site survey studies and laboratory analyses.

The analyser is factory calibrated for measuring Nitrous Oxide, Desflurane, Isoflurane and Sevoflurane.

Operation is user-friendly via menu-driven software which allows both non-technical personnel and certified industrial hygienists to obtain easy, accurate measurements.

The InfraRan Specific Vapour Analyser has an internal rechargeable battery for up to 8 hours of continuous field use or it can be operated from a 110/220V power source.
