Although tension load cells offer a convenient and effective solution for hopper weighing, most units do not have adequate thread size to accommodate appropriate eyebolts or rod-end bearings.
By contrast, the STI features a 36 mm thread in the top and bottom, allowing the fitting of support accessories with a high safe working load limit.
The STI is just part of the Weightron Bilanciai range of load cells, which includes shear beams, 'S' beams, canister cells and digital load cells.
