There are more than 100,000 CPD load cells installed around the world, many operating in the toughest of environments - testimony indeed to their long term reliability and performance.
Available in capacities up to 60 tonne with European Weights and Measures approval to 6000d, the CPD is specifically designed to be used with the Weightron Dialogic range of instrumentation.
The Dialogic series of weigh terminals are fully compatible with Weightron Bilanciai "Telemaintenance" remote support/diagnostics package, and "WinWeigh" weighbridge operation software, offering the user the optimum in flexibility, versatility and reliability.
The robust IP68 design features include laser welded stainless steel construction and a high integrity glass to metal sealed connector.
The ground straps, transient isolation disc and internal electronic surge protection devices protect the load cell from surge and lightning damage.
Anti-rodent stainless steel braided cable is fitted as standard.
One of the key benefits offered by digital load cells is the ease of system calibration.
Unlike standard analogue installations, where the outputs from the load cells are summed arithmetically together, each CPD acts as its own reference centre, retaining critical calibration data.
Checking the 'health' of individual digital load cells can be carried out either locally or remotely.
In the unlikely event of problems or damage, load cells can be replaced without the need to re-run cable, simply by unscrewing the waterproof connector and replacing the new load cell programmed with the relevant calibration data.
Existing analogue weighbridges can be readily upgraded to digital load cells and when the CPD is used in conjunction with the innovative Thruweigh software package, a standard static weighbridge can be converted to a dynamic axle weigher at the touch of a button, whilst retaining all its standard features.
