Leading process weighing company Weightron Bilanciai are launching several new product ranges at the 2006 PPMA show at the NEC in September.

The stand will feature the company's new range of automated gravimetric liquid filling machines for filling containers from 100 ml up to 1500 litres.

The units, which have unrivalled manoeuvrability and reach, are noted for their compact yet versatile design, and both 'legal for trade' - plus ATEX certified versions are available.

Also on show will be the Weightron self-contained low profile vessel weighing kits, with capacities from 20 kg up to 200 tonnes.

These stainless steel units come in pre-calibrated sets and this concept significantly reduces installation and commissioning time.

Full integral side restraint and lift-off protection is a standard feature.

Weightron recognise that fitting load cells to existing process vessels can be difficult or, in some applications, impossible.

Visitors to the stand will be able to see how the company have made an important breakthrough in this area with the development of their DWS displacement weighing system, which provides a very cost effective vessel weighing concept.

Based on Archimedes principle, the DWS is unaffected by force shunts and is ideal for multi vessel applications.

Accurate portion control is vital in many food manufacturing processes and the new Weightron D430 scales provide the perfect answer for both positive and takeaway portion control applications.

Visitors will be able to test out the scales and discuss their specific requirements with Weightron personnel.

The family of new products is completed with the recently introduced D440IS ATEX certified weight indicator.

The D440 has a single and double weighing function and can be configured for simple dosing or filling applications.

The indicator can operate directly in the hazardous area without the need for additional zener barriers.

A full range of ATEX certified load cells complement this versatile indicator.

See the equipment displayed on the Weightron Bilanciai Stand (number A51) at the PPMA Exhibition in September.
