Witt Gas Techniques has updated the KM-3MEM gas mixer for the food packaging industry, being ideal for use on vacuum packaging as well as form, fill and seal applications, or in fluctuating gas flows

Witt Gas Techniques, the Warrington, Cheshire based gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier has updated the KM-3MEM gas mixer for the food packaging industry, being ideal for use on vacuum packaging as well as form, fill and seal applications.

This mixer can also be used when the mixed gas flow fluctuates widely.

This updated version has a new larger diaphragm regulator for precision mixing of the gases.

Designed to handle three defined gases, the KM100-3MEM has an operating range from 0 to approximately 130 LN/Min.

The three single mixing valves with percentage scales provide an infinitely variable mixture setting.

It is housed in an impact resistant stainless steel enclosure and is water resistant.

The gas supply is monitored by pressure switches, and alarms, which can be over-ridden, signal a pressure failure on LEDs.

The failure signal is also available so that it will automatically shut down the packing machine or to activate an external alarm.
