Witt Gas Techniques, the Warrington based gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier, has launched Oxybaby V a hand held system for 02 analysis in the food packaging industry
Mini gas analyser also records packaging ID
A packaging line/product type recording capability has been added to Oxybaby V, the hand held gas measuring system for food packaging analysis on packaging lines, in warehouses or laboratories
Running on a re-chargeable battery, Oxybaby V measures the O2 and CO2 concentration using a minimum gas sample of 4ml only.
Tests have shown that this system measures faster and requires less sample gas than other comparable products on the market.
An operator only uses one hand to operate Oxybaby V as it weighs only 600 grams, whilst the large reversible graphic display makes reading results easy and the response time to get a reading is a maximum 6 seconds.
It is small enough to fit in a pocket, so is ideal for random sampling.
Oxybaby V can also be used to calculate N2 and Ar, whilst models to calculate other gases can be made upon request.
Features of this analyser include a built in needle making it easier to use and it can be operated using one hand.
It also has the ability to memorise and store up to 100 results.
Using an integrated processor, this system stores the value, date and time of the last 100 measurements.
The data can then be read via an interface or downloaded onto a computer or printer using Witt-Logger software, a Windows based programme with filter functions for information editing such as procedure changes and part numbers for individual customers.
Maintenance of the equipment is minimal with only calibration occasionally required.
It has a graphic display with self-explanatory menu guide in 6 languages.
The measuring needle is well protected and the system comes supplied in a protective carrying case, 2 spare needles, 2 spare filters, a set of 100 rubber seals and CD-ROM with Witt-Logger software.
