All KM Gas mixers used in food and pharmaceutical packaging from Witt Gas Techniques, the gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier, now have SMS text messaging facilities.

This facility allows Engineers and Production Managers to programme their gas mixers to send a message to their mobile phone in the event of any problem with gas mixing.

This enables the downtime on the production line to be even further minimised as action can be taken immediately.

The Witt KM gas mixers are designed for defined technical gases, excluding toxic or corrosive gases, ranging from 0 to approximately 300Ln/min.

They are available for flammable gases as an EEx-version.

They have a proportional mixing valve with a percentage scale providing an infinitely variable mixture setting.

The setting accuracy is +/- 1% abs at 0-25% or +/-2% at 0-100%, whilst the mixture accuracy is better than 1% abs.

They also incorporate an automatic pressure equalising system.

To monitor the gas mixture an integrated or external analysis device is available.

There are 4 models in the range, all of which require a receiver with sufficient volume ranging between 5 litres and 100 litres depending on the mixed gas output required.

All mixers in the range are supplied in splashproof aluminium casings and meet ISO9001 standard and are CE marked for EMC in conformity with EN 50081 part 1/03.93 and EN 50082 part 2/02.96.
