New enhanced mini gas analyser from Witt
Witt Gas Techniques has launched a new version of Oxybaby V, a hand held gas measuring system for use in food packaging analysis on the packaging line, in the warehouse or laboratory
The user can record up to 15 packaging line numbers or 15 different products on top of the value, date and time of up to 100 measurements.
Oxybaby V measures the O2 and the CO2 content of the smallest food packets, such as salami, cheese slices as well as other food packaging, including poultry and salads and it only requires minimal sampling to get a reading.
Running on a re-chargeable battery, it measures the O2 and CO2 concentration using a minimum gas sample of 4ml only.
It weighs only 600 grams and is small enough to fit in a pocket, ideal for random sampling.
The large graphic display makes reading results easy and takes a maximum 6 seconds to get a reading.
Oxybaby V can also be used to calculate N2 and Ar, whilst models to calculate other gases can be made upon request.
Other features include a built in needle making it easy to use and the data can be read via an interface or downloaded onto a computer or printer using WITT-Logger software, a Windows based programme with filter functions for information editing such as procedure changes and part numbers for individual customers.
