Users of protective gases committed to operating a quality assurance system will find this software ideal for providing detailed reports for internal documentation and customers
New improved 'Logger' software is available from Witt Gas Techniques, the Warrington based gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier, for the documentation of measured results from the Witt Gas range of gas analysers and gas mixers with integrated analysers, including the portable MFA multi-functional gas analyser and the OxybabyV hand held gas analyser used in Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP).
Users of protective gases committed to operating a quality assurance system will find this software ideal for providing detailed reports for internal documentation and customers.
This new version of the Witt "Logger" software has more functions than the original software and is extremely easy to use.
The main features of the Witt 'Logger' software are it can be used for quality control through date and time data recording and storage, individual product administration and identification through product number, article number and operator identification.
By using a data export interface the information can be transferred onto Microsoft Excel and it can simultaneously log information from up to 8 Witt analysers, which it can automatically identify.
The operating systems for the use with Witt 'Logger' software are Windows '95, '98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP.
The hardware required is minimum Pentium 200MHz, 64MB RAM and 1 free serial interface as well as graphic resolution minimum 800 x 600 pixels.
A connecting cable is supplied with the software and an optional USB-adapter cable is available.
Carl Long, General Manager at Witt Gas Techniques said: "This new software is able to recognise product names set up in the gas analyser and will automatically sort the results into appropriate "folders" on the screen.
This provides the user with easy to read data on dozens of products, so that he/she has an overall picture of their company's gas analysis in their packaging operations.".
