'Pack-Vac' leak detection system for testing!

'Pack-Vac' detects leaks in individual packages using water and compressed air, and can also be used without water as a non destructive leak tester for packages containing fluids, lubricants or water

Pack-Vac can be used with and without water without any modifications making it a very versatile leak tester.

Without water it becomes a non-destructive leak detector, with water, the package contents should not be returned to the packaging line.

Pack-Vac is designed for use with most flexible and rigid packaging used in the food production industry as well as other industrial packaging, for example ball bearings packed in lubricants.

It is very portable and available with 6 different size chambers ranging from height 203mm x width 280mm x depth 203mm to height 508mm x width 813mm x depth 660mm.

It is easy to use - the package is placed in the water filled chamber and compressed air is applied at between 5 - 8 bar.

The immersed package inflates and any leak is detected by a stream of bubbles.

As a non-destructive tester the package is placed in the chamber, a vacuum is applied and any leakage is detected by the pack deflating.

'Pack-Vac' can leak test a package in about 30 seconds, no equipment calibration is required, no special skills required to use the equipment, it is simple to maintain and has an easy to clean perspex housing plus no electrical connections are required nor is there a need for a vacuum pump.

Purpose built versions of 'Pack-Vac' to suit individual requirements are available to order together with a range of accessories.

'Pack-Vac' is an economic 'beginners' alternative to the more advanced 'Leak-Master', a micro-leak detection system for finding leaks based on CO2 detection technology.
