Mix your own gases with Witt compact gas
mixers
Witt Gas Techniques has launched the MM-Flex compact gas mixer for use with technical gases including oxygen and combustible gases, but excluding toxic and corrosive gases
The new MM-Flex mixer allows gas users to mix their own gases quickly and simply, with a setting accuracy +/-1% abs over a mixing range of 0-25% and +/-2% abs over a mixing range of 0 - 100%, by variably adjusting the gas flows and outlet pressures to obtain the composition of the required mixture It is ideal for use on site applications, where the ability to mix one's own gases gives the user flexibility and is more cost effective than purchasing ready mixed gas

It has connections for two gases on the left which are mixed independently of the primary pressure.
The gas outlet is on the right hand side with the pressure being shown in bar and psi.
The inlet pressure differential between the gases is maximum 3 bar, the weight of the mixer is approximately 3kg and it is certified to ISO9001:2000 and ISO 14001.
It is also CE marked to ATEX 95 Directive 94/9/EG for use with potentially explosive gases.
This sturdy mixer is small enough to fit in most toolboxes, can be wall mounted and is easy to install.
It is simple to operate using a proportional mixing valve with control knob and % scale providing infinitely variable mixture settings plus it has an infinitely variable flow setting with scale adjustment.
It is reliable, being both independent of pressure fluctuations in the gas supply and withdrawal fluctuations, plus no un-mixed gas is left over at the end.
Options available with this mixer include the Witt Pipe Couplers for use with 8mm outer diameter pipe, a flame arrestor in the outlet for use with flammable gases and a 230V AC or 24V DC shut-off solenoid valve in the outlet, which is also available as an EEx-version.
