New safety relief valve opens as low as 0.5bar
The AV619 safety relief valve is a new spring loaded, direct acting safety relief valve for venting excess gas pressure from receivers, pipelines etc used in the chemical and oil processing industries
Features of this new safety valve include a sensitive opening pressure, set from 5mbar up to 500mbar, and a high relieving capacity due to the large cross section of the valve opening.
All valves are supplied with a TUV pressure setting certificate.
The valve is also able to work over a temperature range of -40C to +300C.
This new safety relief valve, which can be used with all technical gases, is an addition to the existing range of relief valves available from Witt Gas Techniques and it is available in either brass or stainless steel, with a range of inlet and outlet connections to suit.
An adaptor is also available for connection to a ventilation pipe.
Depending on the connection, the flow capacity can range from 2.6m3/hr to 90.7m3/hr, whilst the setting pressure ranges from 5 - 500mbar.
The valve seat seal material is dependant on the gas being used and specified at the point of order.
These valves are compact in size for easy installation and every valve is 100% tested by Witt Gas Techniques before leaving the factory.
